There are numerous great place to eat in the area surrounding Tullochgorum.

Boat of Garten itself (2 miles) has the wonderful Andersons Restaurant, which is not only relaxed and family friendly, but also serves fabulous freshly prepared food, including their very own homemade ice cream and, in our opinion, the best burgers in the world! The Boat Hotel is open for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner, and its legendary fish and chips night is every Tuesday.

The Mountview Hotel in Nethy Bridge (3.5 miles) has a nice restaurant serving modern Scottish dishes along with beautiful views.

For a slightly more upmarket option, the classy 4 star Muckrach Country House Hotel near Dulnain Bridge (5 miles) serves delicious food and drink all day from its restaurant, coffee house and bar.

Aviemore and Grantown on Spey (7 miles) both have Scottish, Indian, Chinese, Italian and other restaurants. Favourites include Roos Leap in Aviemore, an Australian themed burger joint which is always a big hit with the kids. Also in Aviemore, the Old Bridge Inn offers a roaring log fire, great atmosphere, weekly live music and cask ales along with excellent food.
